ACTION ?

Exactly what kind of action did you expect ?

Yes, people did and still do use guns. We show your basic weapons firing and average people in some form of jeopardy, but we do not include gratuitous violence in our programs. In fact, we have no violence in our programs.

We don't deny that violence exists. We know it does. We know it was far more prevalent in earlier days than it is now in modern civilized society. The point of our presentations is that we can learn from the struggles in the past so that we do not have to suffer through them again.

There are lessons to be learned from history. We do not even try to teach or explain the events that took place. We just take you there. We rode bicycles at Antietam Battlefield, where thousands of Americans died fighting for causes in which they strongly believed. They felt so compelled by their beliefs, that they gave their lives in order to make life better for those that followed.

If you want real action, then join the military. Army | Navy | Air Force | Marines . You will find ample opportunity to exert yourself physically, fire lethal weapons and put yourself in harms way. We recommend it, especially for those of you who seek that type of real-life, close-personal, in-your-face action. That simply cannot be duplicated.

Part of our production staff has extensive military experience. This has been extremely valuable for going places and taking risks in strange or remote parts of the world. Military experience can be useful in urban areas, as well. That does not necessarily mean it has to include violence or action. It can simply mean discipline.

You probably did not click on this page to get a lecture. Fine. If you want artificial action like video games, then buy another product with flames and destruction on the packaging. We do Bicycling through History. You are welcome to join us. The pyrotechnics are limited, but the lessons are real.

The closest thing we have to live action is some video footage from a Terrain Park in Colorado. It may not seem like history, but in a few years even this will look ancient.
